One of America’s premier hunter/jumper print and online publications perfectly captured Becky Warner and Morning Shadows Farm in their title of a recent featured article, “A Jewel in the Arizona Desert.” For over thirty years, Becky has owned and operated Morning Shadows Farm, a full service operation that focuses on developing young horses, as well as preparing juniors and amateurs with the fundamental horsemanship skills to excel in all three rings. Care and management of each horse’s needs and defining a plan to achieve the unique goals of each client were imperative to the core mission of Morning Shadows Farm.
In 2020, Becky will now focus on giving clinics and traveling to clients to teach them all the tools of the trade she has learned for over 30 years. Also is focusing on acquiring her Judge’s card in the Hunter/Jumper/Equitation arena’s.
Becky attributes much of her expertise from training and/or working and competing under the tutelage of equestrian greats including Victor Hugo Vidal, Hap Hansen and Phillip Cillus. Her program has also been heavily influenced from the experience she gained managing a renowned international Grand Prix barn with her former husband, Pierre Jolicoeur, during which time she also campaigned to 2nd place in the AGA Rookie of the Year standings.
Today, Morning Shadows Farm closed it’s doors. During Becky’s tenure her clients have also achieved success at the national level in the Eastern U.S. including top awards at the prestigious fall Indoor Circuits. The longevity and accomplishments of Becky Warner is a testament of the effectiveness of this finely-honed professional program that continues to grow and innovate to sustain the traditions of the American Hunter/Jumper System of Forward Seat Riding.
