Update -USHJA Children’s & Adult Amateur Jumper Regional Championships

February 13, 2013

Great news for Children’s and Adult Amateur Jumper riders interested in a chance to compete in a Championship -30 bid packets for hosting a championship were received from across the country! Details on selected locales are coming soon!

In an effort to provide greater participation, more competition and less cost to exhibitors there will be four regions, composed of the USHJA zones as follows:

• North — Zones 1, 2 and 5
• South — Zones 3 and 4
• Central — Zones 6 and 7
• West — Zones 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12

Make certain to check your email often as we start announcing the locations and dates of the Four Regional Championships!

Applications for Riders are now available.

Competitions will be held for teams and/or individual riders. A team will consist of a minimum of three horse and rider combinations, but not more than four. The number of teams that each state can send to the Championship will be determined by the number of Children’s jumper riders and Adult Amateur jumper riders residing in a state the previous year. As an example, a state with fewer than 150 Children’s jumper riders will be permitted one team.
