USHJA and Equestrian Life Team up to Bring the IHSA Nationals to Primetime

April 30, 2010

The United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA), membership partner with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), and media powerhouse, Equestrian Life, have teamed up to bring the IHSA Nationals to television. The IHSA Nationals will take place from May 6-9 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. A television show capturing the highlights of the event will air on Equestrian Life’s television partner, HRTV, in June.

"USHJA has a strong relationship with Equestrian Life as a Media Partner of the 2009 and 2010 International Hunter Derby Finals and we have joined with them on several successful projects. Our partnership with IHSA provides us with a stronger member demographic of riders between the ages of 18-22. This is a tech savvy generation and along with the television exposure Equestrian Life can offer, there are endless social media opportunities for USHJA and IHSA to further develop their mutually beneficial relationship", stated Whitney Allen, Director of Marketing and Communications for USHJA.

"We are thrilled to be able to provide national television exposure of the IHSA Nationals and are excited for IHSA members to join our Web site free of charge at Equestrian Life is the leading social media network for equestrians across all disciplines and a great place for IHSA riders to meet others, upload photos, watch event coverage, exchange information and learn from experts through our extensive video library. We are proud to work with USHJA and IHSA on this historic event for collegiate equestrians." said Deana Bergquist, President and Co-Founder of Equestrian Life.

The IHSA television coverage will appear on HRTV. Programming dates and times will be announced after the IHSA Nationals on both the USHJA and Equestrian Life Web sites.
