Deadline for Submission of Individual Rule Changes is June 1

June 1, 2009 is the deadline for an individual to submit a rule change proposal. Rules are submitted to the USEF either by an individual or a Federation committee or affiliate (deadline for rule changes from Federation Committees, USEF Affiliated Entities and USEF Affiliated Associations is September 1). Once the rules are submitted, they are distributed to the appropriate committees and/or affiliates for consideration. As the national affiliate for hunters and jumpers, USHJA committees and Board of Directors will review and vote on all relevant rule change proposals during the 2009 USHJA Annual Meeting, December 7-11 in St. Petersburg, FL. The USHJA BOD will then forward their actions to the USEF BOD for consideration at the USEF Annual Meeting in January 2010.
